SPEAKING TASKS FOR THE EXAM REVEALED!

Hello buddies!

As I told you last Friday in class, here I leave you a list of the possible tasks you'll have to do in the speaking part of the exam. Try to prepare them a little but at home, revise the vocabulary that you need for them and ask me if you have any doubt.
Here's the list:
  1. Meeting people. Conversation between two people asking for their names, company where they work, where they live...
  2. Buying food and drinks. Conversation between the waiter and the customer in a restaurant. Vocabulary about food, drinks, ordering a meal...
  3. Talking about your job. Describing your company, the business facilities you can use/find in your office...
  4. Talking about daily routines. Explain your daily routines, using the time when you do these things...
  5. Talking about your home. Describing what you can find in your house.
  6. Giving directions. Explain someone how to arrive to a certain point.

From this 6 possible tasks, you'll be ask to do an exercise about one of them.

After correcting the homework...

- Ordinal numbers. Remember the exceptions of 1(first), 2 (second), 3 (third)

- Giving directions. Imperative verbs + directions: right, left, straight, through, the end of, just past...
- Properties vocabulary (house apartment, kitchen, bedroom, living room, bathroom, garden)

- Video episode 4 (In a clothes shop)

Hey guys!

Here are the points we covered last week:

- Correction homework workbook + page 96 student's book.
- Photocopies PRESENT SIMPLE positive and negative.
- Photocopy jobs. Revision.

SESSION 3

HI GUYS!

Let's go for the 3rd summary. Here it goes:

After correcting your homework from the previous week, we began with the book.

- Vocabulary connected to jobs and workplaces.
- Grammar: the present simple affirmative, negative and interrogative.
- Revision of the time.

SESSION 2



Hi again!

Here you can find the new post with a brief summary of what we did in class yesterday.
Now you all have your enrty test back, and I have an idea of your level. We began the class with a little game on memorising drinks. After that, we negan with the grammar and vocabulary from our books taking a look at:

- Numbers from 0 to 100.
- Phone calls and vocabulary related to that topic.
- How to say our email addresses.
- The time. Asking for the time, telling the time and interact with our partners.
- Currencies (euro, dollar, yen, etc.) and prices for a Big Mac around the world!
- Food vocabulary (salad, burger, chicken, beef, tuna...)
- Practice on conversations in a bar.
- Plurals for nouns.
