SESSION 3

HI GUYS!

Let's go for the 3rd summary. Here it goes:

After correcting your homework from the previous week, we began with the book.

- Vocabulary connected to jobs and workplaces.
- Grammar: the present simple affirmative, negative and interrogative.
- Revision of the time.

SESSION 2



Hi again!

Here you can find the new post with a brief summary of what we did in class yesterday.
Now you all have your enrty test back, and I have an idea of your level. We began the class with a little game on memorising drinks. After that, we negan with the grammar and vocabulary from our books taking a look at:

- Numbers from 0 to 100.
- Phone calls and vocabulary related to that topic.
- How to say our email addresses.
- The time. Asking for the time, telling the time and interact with our partners.
- Currencies (euro, dollar, yen, etc.) and prices for a Big Mac around the world!
- Food vocabulary (salad, burger, chicken, beef, tuna...)
- Practice on conversations in a bar.
- Plurals for nouns.

After that we took a look at the BBC website, where you have a section for people who are studing English:


The last part of the lesson we watched a video where Mark and Allie meet for the first time and they begin their story...

SESSION 1

Hi students!

This is a summary on what we did in the first session of our course.
We began with an entry test to know your level of English. After that, we did the Find someone who... activity and finally we began with our student's book (Start up 1).
From the book, we learnt:
- How to introduce ourselves.
- The alphabet
- The subject pronouns.
- The verb to be in the present simple.
- Vocabulary about the countries and drinks.
- The indefinite article a/an.

Hola estudiantes!

Esto es un resumen de lo que vimos en clase en nuestra primera sesión.
Empezamos con un pequeño test para saber vuestro nivel de inglés. Después de eso, hicimos la actividad Encuentra a alguien que... y acabamos con el libro (Start up 1).
Con el libro aprendimos:

- Cómo presentarnos.
- El abecedario.
- Los pronombres de sujeto.
- El verbo to be (ser o estar) en presente simple.
- Vocabulario relacionado con los países y bebidas.
- El articulo indefinido a /an.

Welcome!

Hello guys!

As I told you in the introductory session, this is our new tool that will be useful for communication between students and teacher.
As you all know, the first part of the course will only be on Fridays, so during the week you will find different posts, documents, videos, pictures, news...
I hope this blog will be useful for both parts and I just have to welcome you and wish that you have a profitable course in Mataró in.

Tal y como os comenté en la sesión introductoria, ésta será nuestra nueva herramienta que será útil para la comunicación entre estudiantes y profesor.
Como todos sabéis, la primera parte del curso será únicamente los viernes, así que durante la semana podréis encontrar posts, documentos, videos, fotos, noticias...
Espero que este blog sea útil para ambas partes y sólo me queda daros la bienvenida y desearos que tengáis un curso provechoso en Mataró in.
